Cheezy Broccoli Soup

2 ½ cups carrots

2 ½ cups potatoes

1 medium onion

1 ¾ t salt

3 ½ cups water

¾ cup cashews

6-8 cups fresh broccoli

Combine 1 ½ cups carrots, 1 ½ cups potatoes, 1 medium onion and salt into 3 ½ cups of water. Heat until vegetables are soft, Add cooked ingredients to blender with cashews. Blend to make cheesy sauce, and return to pot. Continue to warm. Place remaining potatoes, carrots and vegetables into a steamer, and cook to desired firmness. Stir steamed vegetables into cheesy sauce, and serve.
